60 Minute Intro to Rowing Session
Take your first strokes both on the rowing machine and on the water!
Service Description
Your first session is a hands-on introduction to rowing from start to finish. We begin with 20–25 minutes on the rowing erg, where you’ll learn the basic stroke mechanics, timing, and rhythm in a clear, approachable way. This gives you a feel for how rowing works before ever touching the water. From there, we head straight onto the water for about 35 minutes in a very stable boat, where you’ll take your first on-the-water strokes. You’ll learn how the boat moves, how to balance, and how to apply what you just learned—calmly, confidently, and at your own pace. By the end of the session, you’ll have a real understanding of rowing, not just a demo—and you’ll leave having actually rowed on the water.
